Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. The budget of her was augmented with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox wasn't happy with the quality of her skills compared to others at Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. However she left prior to the group's appearance on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop group. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own first album Diva. It came out in 1993. The album was a massive achievement, both in terms of sales and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October of 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul tunes from her upbringing. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. The latter part of the 70s was when she achieved minor fame as part in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 when she released the album of Diva, which featured many of her most popular songs such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album, features the cover versions of some popular tracks like No MoreI Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale.
