Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell hails from Canada and is a performer and model as well as a businesswoman. Her most famous work is her part in the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars as Emily Fields. Shay Lo is the nickname of a Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fan who became popular among friends. As a child she discovered a passion of performing arts. She spoke to her parents about the possibility of pursuing an acting career. When she was a star in dance and modeling her passion for modeling, she decided to try her hand at acting, and began acting classes in Toronto. Mitchell made a few guest appearances in TV shows and commercials before she got her big break. She was cast on Pretty Little Liars as Emily Fields. The show was highly praised both for her acting and by fans. She then made her mark on the world of film with Dreamland as well as Mother's Day. She gained more attention due to her role in the Psychological drama series You. Shay Mitchell is not only an actress, she has also dabbled in writing. Together with Michaela Blayne, she co-wrote the adult book Bliss.
